Fiery Steed

Why shouldn't I be the one to encourage the love that you raise every morning like a song to my God? If it is what your soul emanates giving in just benefit, to that sweet and living flame that illuminates and will never burn, because it is divine and holy fire. But I love thee so much, since I was always so plain, Teresa never discards the approach to thee, what if thou thinkest to die in that sweet rapture, blessed and praised be my God in prayer so much, that only to this sister calms and inebriates her thirst of love. Keep your sorrow and forget, that sorrow gives fatigue for that work so much, that you have to turn into a song for other friendly souls, who also in God are enlivened in its sweetness and charm.
Fair morning steed riding free rein, never be held back by the slope or the narrowness of the path. To be wise, is to trot first to ride later, always firm in knowledge and in what matters first, the rest is fleeting, run to win, for the prize you must know, it is always sure and certain, for as something from heaven, with love you must see.
In it I come to offer you nobility, patience and calm: nobility channels the soul that in tenacity is regenerated, patience frees it from haste and raptures, only in calm there is a pact that I sealed with love; for the greatness of God will never bring delay, if in virtue the hour comes to depart from this world...
And what Teresa says to you is not the work of the dumb, for it is expressed in the voice of God to sweeten your sorrow, this brother is achieved in God by living and loving.
