The Unión Espírita – Nuevo Renacer was founded by Yaimary Silvera Batista with the event on 10 August 2024 at the Misión y Caridad centre in Holguín, Cuba.

The New Awakening project emerged from the Spiritist merger.

On 10 August 2024, the brotherhood was founded, in which the spirit beings have been transmitting messages for more than three years, bringing us into harmony with each other. Thanks to our spirit guides, they have given us instructions on how to continue working. They are the ones who chose the name and decided how to address this work. We only serve as an instrument to carry out their instructions.

The Unión Espírita – Nuevo Renacer is an international organisation. As well as its international work, it supports the Holguín Spiritist Federation.

The Unión Espírita – Nuevo Renacer is dedicated to the practice and promotion of Spiritism, a philosophical and spiritual doctrine that encourages the study and understanding of life beyond the material world.

This organisation aims to promote the values of brotherhood, solidarity and love for one’s neighbour through activities such as lectures, workshops and study sessions.

Our team

Yaimary Silvera Batista

President

She was born on 22 June 1975 in Holguín. Known as Yaimy, she has been able to see the spiritual world since she was four years old. At the age of six, she began to develop her clairvoyant abilities. At the age of nine, she would rub her own stomach to cure herself of stomach ailments, and in this way she went on to help other children.

At the age of 10, he began to write under the guidance of a spirit teacher, who explained the Spiritist Doctrine to him. It was then that he realised there was a codified set of teachings which, to this day, he has not yet read, because he already knew its contents.

At the age of 14, he began working with the spirits and thus continued his mission. To this day, he runs his spiritual centre in Holguín, Cuba.

She can guide them from afar. Only Faith, Love and Humility can overcome barriers.

José Fernando Labrada Silvera

First Vice President

He was born on 10 January 1996 in Holguín, the son of Yaimary Silvera. He grew up in a Spiritist family.

Responsible for the website and its content. Together with his mother, he continues his mission in Germany, helping the Brothers who need spiritual support and guidance in developing their mediumistic abilities.

This is how they contribute to the Spiritist movement in Europe.

Rigoberto Vecino Sánchez

Second Vice President

Rigoberto Vecino Sánchez began his spiritual activities in 1988 at the ‘La Nueva Luz’ Spiritist Society, located in the Ojo de Agua neighbourhood of the municipality of Holguín, where he remained until 2000.

In that same year, he joined the ‘Allan Kardec’ Spiritist Society, located in the Vista Alegre district of Holguín, where he remained for 17 years. It was at this Society that he began giving public talks in 2004.

From that date onwards, he began to take part in visits to the Spiritist Centres in the main town, with a view to strengthening bonds of fellowship, which subsequently contributed to the founding of the Holguín Spiritist Federation in June 2012.

He is one of its founders and, once the Federation had been established, he served as coordinator for one of the districts in the capital municipality.

In July 2018, he founded the Spiritist Movement for Fraternal Unification ‘WITH EVERYONE AND FOR THE GOOD OF EVERYONE’, seeking unity within diversity, where love, respect and tolerance would be the fundamental values.

In October of that same year, he founded the bimonthly Spiritist newsletter ‘La Nueva Luz’, which was distributed free of charge to Spiritist Centres.

On 20 April 2019, he was elected president of the Holguín Spiritist Federation, a position he was re-elected to in February 2024.

During this period, it has worked to strengthen the ties between legally recognised Spiritist Societies, those without legal recognition, and independent Spiritists.

It has also established spiritual working relationships with the spiritualist federations of Camagüey, Granma and Las Tunas, thereby strengthening the Cuban spiritualist movement.

He took part in various national and international Spiritist meetings and conferences, sharing his knowledge and experiences relating to the Spiritist Doctrine.

Together with other brothers and sisters, he has set up online groups where they share topics, books, important dates in Spiritism and simple courses to spread the Spiritist Doctrine.

He has been studying Spiritism for over 30 years. He is currently a member of the ‘Luz Divina’ Spiritist Society, located in the Holguínero neighbourhood of La Cuaba, where he gives public talks based on Spiritism.

Our Objectives

Our intention is to offer a platform where every Spiritist Centre can represent itself, creating a Fraternal Spiritist Union that allows us to continue advancing in our Mission. We follow Spiritism according to the teachings of Allan Kardec. Spiritism, or the Spiritist Doctrine, is a science of observation and a philosophical doctrine revealed by higher Spirits. As a practical science, it addresses the nature, origin and destiny of Spirits, as well as their relationship with the physical world. In addition to Kardec’s Spiritist Codification, each Spiritist Centre treasures its own teachings given by the Spirits who founded these movements and who continue to guide them. The Spiritist Union – New Beginning is a union of Spiritist Centres in Cuba and outside Cuba. It does not impose any rules or regulations; each Centre manages its own internal discipline and, therefore, its mediumistic work. We are a non-profit fraternity of Spiritist Centres whose main objective is to promote the Spiritist Doctrine and spread it both inside and outside Cuba.
