My name is Rigoberto Vecino Sánchez, I was born on May 2, 1968 in Entrada Sao Arriba, a neighbourhood near the capital of Holguín. I began my spiritual activities in 1988 in the Spiritist Society "La Nueva Luz", located in the Ojo de Agua neighbourhood in the municipality of Holguín, where I remained until the year 2000. In the same year I joined the Spiritist Society "Allan Kardec", located in the Reparto Holguínero Vista Alegre, where I remained for 17 years. In this Society I began to give public talks since 2004. From that date I began to collaborate in the visits to the Spiritist Centres of the head municipality with a view to strengthening fraternal ties that later contributed to the founding of the Spiritist Federation of Holguín in June 2012, so I am one of its founders. Once the Federation was founded I served as Coordinator of one of the zones of the capital municipality. In July 2018 I founded the Spiritist Movement of Fraternal Unification "WITH ALL AND FOR THE GOOD OF ALL", seeking unity in the midst of diversity, where love, respect and tolerance would be the ones that would be manifested, taking into account all Holguín Spiritists, that is, the legally recognised Spiritist Centres, those without legal recognition and independent Spiritists. In October of the same year I founded the bimonthly Spiritist bulletin "La Nueva Luz", which had three editions, being distributed to the Centres free of charge, at my own expense. For reasons beyond my control it was no longer printed. All this work allowed the Spiritists of Holguín to decide in general and democratic elections that on April 20, 2019 I would be elected president of the Spiritist Federation of Holguín, a position that I was ratified on February 10 of the present year (2024). During the period of these 5 years I have worked together with a small group of brothers to incorporate into the Spiritist Federation of Holguín, not only the Spiritist Societies with legal recognition but all those that exist in the province, and also the so-called independent Spiritists, thus fulfilling the purposes that I proposed to myself since I founded the MEUF mentioned above in 2018. We have also established spiritual work links with the spiritist federations of Camagüey, Granma and Las Tunas with the aim of strengthening the Cuban spiritist movement. I participated in the II International Spiritism Workshop held at the Riviera Hotel in Havana in 2008, in the 6th Central American and Caribbean Spiritist Congress and the 23rd Cuban Spiritist Congress held in the city of Bayamo in 2011, in the 7th World Spiritist Congress held at the Lázaro Peña Theatre in the capital of Cuba in 2013, in the I Fraternal Meeting with representatives from other provinces and also from abroad held at the Ismaelillo Theatre in the city of Holguín in 2014. Since my election as president of the Holguín Spiritualist Federation, I have participated in various activities carried out by the spiritualist federations of Camagüey, Granma and Las Tunas, as well as with brothers from Santiago de Cuba. I have created, together with other brothers and sisters, virtual groups by WhatsApp, in which we share topics, books, remember spiritist ephemeris and we are also developing a course, in a simple way, to spread the Spiritist Doctrine. I have been studying the Spiritist Doctrine for more than 30 years. Currently I belong to the Spiritist Society "Luz Divina", located in the Holguín neighbourhood of La Cuaba, where my function is to give public talks based on the Spiritist Doctrine.
