Obsessive spirits

Spirit obsession refers to a situation in which a discarnate spirit exerts a negative or detrimental influence on a living person on the earthly plane. This influence can manifest itself in different ways and in varying degrees of intensity, as I mention below in the types of spirit obsession: simple obsession, fascination and subjugation, according to the terminology used in the spiritism.
In general terms, spiritual obsession involves interference with the obsessed person's mind, thoughts, emotions or actions by a discarnate spirit. This interference may be conscious or unconscious, depending on the situation. The causes of spiritual obsession can vary and may be related to karmic ties, spiritual affinities or even the person's mental and emotional state on earth.
Spiritual obsession can have detrimental effects on the affected person's life, including changes in behaviour, negative thoughts, destructive impulses, unbalanced emotional states and, in severe cases, loss of free will.
It is important to note that, according to spiritist doctrine, spiritual obsession is not a divine punishment or demonic possession, but rather a manifestation of spiritual imbalance that can be treated and overcome through the help of mediums, spiritual therapists and the application of spiritual principles, such as charity and spiritual elevation. Spiritual obsession is seen as an opportunity for learning and spiritual growth for both the person affected and the spirits involved.
The three degrees of obsession:
Simple Obsession:
The simple obsession is the influence or interference of discarnate spirits in a person's mind, which can be more or less intense. In this type of obsession, the spirits may influence the individual's thoughts, emotions and actions without the individual being fully aware of it. They may be intrusive thoughts or negative impulses that are not in line with the person's personality or values. Simple obsession usually does not involve complete control over the individual and can vary in intensity.
Fascination:
Fascination is a more intense and damaging type of spiritual obsession. In this case, a disembodied spirit exerts a stronger control over the obsessed person's mind and actions. The victim can become completely dominated by the influence of the obsessing spirit, losing his or her free will and ability to make decisions. This can lead the person to act in an impulsive and self-destructive manner, and the support of a medium or a specialist in spiritual disobsession is often necessary to assist in deliverance.
Subjugation:
The subjugation is the most serious type of spiritual obsession. In this case, a disembodied spirit exercises total control over the victim, completely suppressing his will and personality. The subjugated person acts as a puppet in the hands of the obsessing spirit and can perform extremely harmful acts to himself and others. Subjugation is a dangerous state and requires specialised spiritual intervention to free the person from the influence of the obsessing spirit.
It is important to note that, according to spiritist doctrine, the process of spiritual obsession is considered reversible, and spiritual and therapeutic help can be sought to free oneself from the influence of obsessing spirits. The practice of charity, prayer and spiritual upliftment are considered effective tools to combat spiritual obsession and restore mental and spiritual balance.
