The "Luz de la Esperanza" centre was founded in 1943 by Ramo Pérez, later passing to Clodo Osbaldo Pérez. Currently, Rubén Gámez Pérez is the centre's director.

The Centre is located on the Las Tunas - Puerto Padre road, El Mango, La Guira. The labours take place on the second, third and fourth Sunday of each month.
