Centre El Peregrino

Ramón Mejías Jiménez leads the spiritual centre "El Peregrino" in Havana. He began his spiritual development at the age of 9. Due to his mother's health problems he had to live for almost a year in the city of Camagüey where he came to know the Centre of Celsa Rodríguez, Colegio Apostólico Sociedad Espírita de Camagüey. There he was spiritually guided, as he felt and saw spirits and fell into a spiritual trance. Since he was a child, he prophesied to people the events that were going to happen. He returned to Havana with his cured mother after a year in Camagüey. Under the guidance of the direction of the Celsa Rodriguez Centre, he and his mother began to work spiritually in the Spiritist Society of the National Spiritist Supreme Council, directed by its president Alfredo Duran, now deceased. There he became the head of the same centre for several years until, due to disagreements with Durán, he was withdrawn from the said Spiritualist society and, under the guidance of its director and guide in Camagüey, he began his first spiritual work in a private house. For a time, until the true spiritual guide, El Peregrino, manifested himself through him for the fulfilment of a spiritual mission, for the benefit of all humanity. The name of the Pilgrim is a product of the Franciscan spirit called Bartolito who, as a friar in his time, went on pilgrimage from one place to another helping, prophesying and advising a needy humanity.
Glory to God in the highest and peace on earth, to men of goodwill..
