Dear brothers and sisters,

we would like to talk to you about modern esotericism, whose roots are spreading more and more and whose development and rapid spread we view with concern. It may seem harmless to you, but the truth is that modern esotericism is a lying wolf in sheep's clothing, a proliferating cancer in the human psyche. It is the insidious tool of evil, which under the pretense of innocence and love and with sweet lies and false promises, strives to envelop the souls of the ignorant innocents in the dazzling veil of deception. For this blocks these poor souls from seeing the real divine truths and thus makes the road to redemption considerably more difficult. But not only these poor souls are affected by these harmful excesses.

The messages of the various currents of modern esotericism are so perfidious in their constant emphasis on light and love and strict denial of the existence of the negative, that the poor souls, in their exacerbated longing for a perfect world in the realm of chaos, believe that they are the chosen "warriors of light". In reality, however, they unwittingly become the earthly outstretched arms of the deceitful lower spirits who know how to guide them skilfully. Intoxicated and addicted to the sweet and poisonous potion of the cup of illusions, they cling to their drug from the realm of twilight. But woe to them if the realisation turns bitter and the withdrawal full of pain. And no one can escape this in the long run.

So listen, brothers and sisters, you who are on the true pilgrimage, act wisely. Do not believe without filter every beautiful word that speaks to your mouth and to your longing. Such a message can never come from a virtuous higher spiritual being. Only inferior spirits flatter their victims. Know that the nature of truth is sober, but clear and imbued with logic. To the ignorant and to those who resist it, it is like a bitter medicine which at first grumbles in the stomach, but which after a time settles into the most beautiful balm, which alone heals.

Hence our urgent appeal. God gave His children a powerful weapon for battle and protection against deception and fraud: the mind. Do not let it degenerate because of (apparent) holiness. Use it as a sharp sword. Do not think that heaven demands blind faith from you. On the contrary, you must test, experience and understand for yourselves. Only in this way will you recognise and attain salvation.

In this, dear brothers and sisters, you will recognise the truthfulness of Spiritism, which is distinguished in its uniqueness from all religions and belief systems. Spiritism emphasises the fusion of faith and science. And indeed, Spiritism wants to create knowledge. Therefore, if you strive to be true spiritists and Grail seekers, who love divine truth more than flattering appearances, we advise you to take your cue from the great envoy of Spiritism, Allan Kardec himself. With deep love and trust in our heavenly Father, he humbly accepted the gigantic sacred task entrusted to him of separating the tares from the wheat and the messages of the purer spirits from the swamp of the lying and deceiving spirits.
