Heinrich Heine assina a mensagem inserida em O Evangelho Segundo o Espiritismo, no item 3 do cap\u00edtulo XX, intitulada Os \u00faltimos ser\u00e3o os primeiros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nasceu em D\u00fcsseldorf em 13 de dezembro de 1797, de fam\u00edlia judaica. Seu destino era o com\u00e9rcio e por isso foi encaminhado pelo pai a um tio banqueiro em Hamburgo. Logo verificou-se que ele n\u00e3o tinha dom para a atividade e o tio o remeteu a Bonn, a fim de estudar Direito. Mas o jovem Harry, como era chamado ent\u00e3o, interessou-se pelos assuntos liter\u00e1rios e abra\u00e7ou os cursos de literatura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berlim foi seu ambiente mais prop\u00edcio, permitindo-lhe frequentar os sal\u00f5es liter\u00e1rios e seguir a filosofia pol\u00edtica de Hegel. Poeta e jornalista, ficou famoso pelos poemas e livros de viagens. Desgostoso pelo clima antissemita do pa\u00eds, emigrou para Paris no ano de 1831.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ali se tornaria correspondente de grandes jornais alem\u00e3es. Foi um dos mais inquietos e pol\u00eamicos jornalistas de seu tempo. Para o Jornal Geral de Augsburgo descrevia quadros da vida francesa, sendo seus temas constantes o parlamento, a imprensa, o mundo art\u00edstico, o teatro e a m\u00fasica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sua influ\u00eancia foi enorme dentro e fora da Alemanha. Na segunda metade do s\u00e9culo XIX todos os poetas alem\u00e3es pareciam heinianos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sua poesia \u00e9 de um lirismo melanc\u00f3lico de in\u00edcio. Seus poemas sentimentais s\u00e3o cheios de infelicidade e lamenta\u00e7\u00f5es amorosas. Alguns poemas de amor conquistaram fama universal, sendo depois musicados por Schubert, Schumann e muitos outros compositores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Escreveu poemas dedicados ao mar, em versos livres. E, por fim, a poesia pol\u00edtica, tangendo versos que retratavam situa\u00e7\u00f5es da \u00e9poca como Os Tecel\u00f5es, poema inspirado pela greve dos tecel\u00f5es esfomeados da Sil\u00e9sia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como prosador \u00e9 considerado um dos mais \u00e1geis da literatura de l\u00edngua alem\u00e3, em qualquer tempo. Suas obras mais ambiciosas s\u00e3o A escola rom\u00e2ntica e Sobre a hist\u00f3ria da religi\u00e3o e da filosofia na Alemanha. Nesse \u00faltimo, Heine parece querer completar o livro de Mme. de St\u00e4el sobre a Alemanha, tentando mostrar aos franceses o pensamento est\u00e9tico e filos\u00f3fico do seu pa\u00eds. Nele est\u00e1 estampada a profecia de um despertar revolucion\u00e1rio da consci\u00eancia alem\u00e3 e, sobretudo, a cren\u00e7a do poeta na import\u00e2ncia universal do pensamento de Hegel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sofreu dificuldades financeiras, enfrentou conflitos pol\u00edticos e a doen\u00e7a acabou por vitim\u00e1-lo. Sofreu uma paralisia que o conduziu \u00e0 morte em 17 de fevereiro de 1856, em Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
