A partir do ensinamento dado pelos esp\u00edritos, parece que, no que diz respeito ao grau de avan\u00e7o ou inferioridade de seus habitantes, os v\u00e1rios mundos est\u00e3o em condi\u00e7\u00f5es muito diferentes uns dos outros. Assim, entre eles, h\u00e1 aqueles cujos habitantes s\u00e3o ainda mais inferiores do que os da Terra, f\u00edsica e moralmente. Outros est\u00e3o na mesma categoria que a nossa; outros ainda s\u00e3o mais ou menos superiores em todos os aspectos. Nos mundos inferiores, a exist\u00eancia \u00e9 inteiramente material, as paix\u00f5es reinam supremas e a vida moral \u00e9 quase nula. \u00c0 medida que se desenvolve, a influ\u00eancia da mat\u00e9ria diminui, a tal ponto que, nos mundos mais avan\u00e7ados, a vida \u00e9, por assim dizer, absolutamente espiritual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nos mundos intermedi\u00e1rios, h\u00e1 uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o do bem e do mal, com predomin\u00e2ncia de um ou de outro, de acordo com o grau de avan\u00e7o daqueles que os habitam. Embora n\u00e3o seja poss\u00edvel fazer uma classifica\u00e7\u00e3o absoluta dos v\u00e1rios mundos, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel, de acordo com seu estado e destino, e com base nas nuances mais salientes, dividi-los amplamente da seguinte forma mundos primitivos, destinados \u00e0s primeiras encarna\u00e7\u00f5es da alma humana; mundos de expia\u00e7\u00f5es e provas, onde predomina o mal; mundos de regenera\u00e7\u00e3o, onde as almas que ainda n\u00e3o se expiaram adquirem novas for\u00e7as e descansam das fadigas da luta; mundos felizes, onde o bem prevalece sobre o mal; mundos celestiais ou divinos, morada de esp\u00edritos purificados, onde o bem reina supremo. A Terra pertence \u00e0 categoria de mundos de expia\u00e7\u00e3o e prova\u00e7\u00e3o, e \u00e9 por isso que o homem est\u00e1 exposto a tanta mis\u00e9ria nela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os Esp\u00edritos que encarnam em um mundo n\u00e3o est\u00e3o sujeitos a ele indefinidamente, nem cumprem ali todas as etapas de progresso que devem percorrer para alcan\u00e7ar a perfei\u00e7\u00e3o. Quando atingem o grau de adiantamento que esse mundo permite, passam a outro mundo mais avan\u00e7ado, e assim por diante, at\u00e9 atingirem o estado de esp\u00edritos puros. Esses mundos s\u00e3o como muitas esta\u00e7\u00f5es, em cada uma das quais eles encontram elementos de progresso proporcionais ao seu avan\u00e7o. Passar para um mundo de ordem superior \u00e9 para eles uma recompensa, assim como \u00e9 um castigo prolongar sua perman\u00eancia em um mundo miser\u00e1vel ou ser relegado a um mundo ainda mais infeliz do que aquele que s\u00e3o obrigados a deixar quando se obstinam no mal.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
