Pedro Gonz\u00e1lez Collados was born into a humble family, in the hamlet of Puente Tocinos, in the municipality of Puente Tocinos, Murcia, on 20 July 1933. From an early age, he showed the great spiritual potential that he had within him, having his first mediumistic experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One day, on entering his room, his mother found him avoiding her: his body was suspended more than half a metre above the bed. On another occasion, she heard laughter in her son's room and was very surprised to see him climbing on top of a large wardrobe next to his little brother. Stupefied, she could never figure out how he could have climbed up there, and even more so, how he could have done it with his brother. After the age of eight, he had several bilocations, being seen by neighbours and people close to the family in different places at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of these bilocations took place one morning while he was at school: an old neighbour saw him in Beniajan - a village six kilometres from Murcia - having a conversation with him for half an hour. When the woman returned to the city, she met Pedro's father and told him what had happened; he returned home very upset and ready to punish him, as he thought that his son had not attended school, playing truant. But to his surprise, the teacher assured him that his son had not been absent that morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything he announced about his life was faithfully fulfilled as the years went by: his marriage, the children he would have, the fact that he would live for some years in Madrid. But the culmination was the constitution of the \"big house\" - he had already announced it at the age of three - where he would live with many people who shared his ideals for Spiritism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The greatest trials and difficulties he had to overcome tempered his character, acquiring the maturity necessary for the development and consolidation of his mediumnity; for just as he always had the help of the Mentors who protected him, evil also made use of his inexperience, trying by all means to truncate the awakening of his work for good, for he never had the help of anyone, nor of a master to guide and support him in those difficult years of fear and disbelief, where his own family thought he was \"possessed\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He worked as a cook in the Psychiatric Sanatorium of Dr. Luis Valenciano \u2013 near the old Condomina stadium, now disappeared \u2013 in the centre of Murcia and in the Psychiatric Clinic of Dr. Raimundo Mu\u00f1oz in El Palmar, in the area of La Paloma, Murcia. His contact with these patients strengthened his feelings of love towards his fellow man, widening his heart much more, in consoling the sorrows and tears of those that life itself claimed from them a hard account of the past. Others, possessed of an unknown mediumship, the ignorance of their own families and a society that was alien and deaf to the communications of the Spiritual World, had relegated them to the sanatoriums as morons and madmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the seventies, when he met Antonio Hern\u00e1ndez Lozano, their friendship gave rise to a strong commitment to work and dedication; from then on, they would share a life dedicated to the spreading of authentic Spiritism, in a country where people were still afraid and hid, among other reasons due to Franco's dictatorial regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the maturity of his life, Brother Pedro devoted himself to the practice of healing using natural therapies. Advised at all times by Spiritual Beings who, through their mediumship, channelled their healing power to the people who came to visit them, giving them the appropriate treatment: by laying on of hands or energetic passes, for the cleansing of their auras, also with fluidised water that a Mentor prepared during the trances \u2013incorporated in him- extending his hands towards a bucket or bucket of water, at a distance of about two metres, and this changed its normal taste or chlorine, for a very sweet one. And, of course, the love and comfort that distilled from his kind and wise words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He treated hundreds of patients, often with astonishing results. Simply by having the person in front of him, he was able to know their state of mind, diagnose their illness and give them the right treatment. He had very difficult cases in many people: obsessed and manipulated by some lower-astraline entity, whom he helped - as it was said in the time of the Apostles: \"casting the demon out of the body\", depressions, or in serious physical cases, where the patients recovered completely: leukaemia, kidney purpura, psoriasis, a cancer of the jaw, nephritic colic, liver cirrhosis, etc., which responded to simple natural treatments and some opportune advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of these cases that reached public opinion were labelled as \"miracles\" and were investigated by qualified doctors and specialists. The truth is that the \"miracle\" was the man himself, for his great charisma, for his sacrifice and love for others, for his testimony of humility, for not having hours in his dedication, bringing to everyone the hope of a better life in spirit and in light; for not knowing how to say no to anyone - even to the detriment of his own person - when it was a question of helping anyone. That is why the people who knew him, in his presence, surrendered to the evidence of his love and understanding. How often we hear people say: \"Brother Peter, just seeing and hearing you takes everything away from me\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His practices spread not only in the region of Murcia, but throughout most of Spain: Madrid, Avila, Extremadura, Barcelona, Santander, Andalusia, and even in various parts of Portugal. Until the time came when more important spiritual commitments required his full attention and he had to give up his work. At the same time he gave himself tirelessly \u2013at every opportunity - to lending his material for the celebration of mediumistic sessions, sometimes multitudinous, and which were a beautiful testimony of the spiritual reality - of his message of love and teaching - for countless people who attended these events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a long period of time, his subject also suffered the stigmatisations on many occasions: on his feet, on his forehead, but above all on his back, which, like a whipping, would swell and bleed. The stigmatisations lasted for two or three days and then there was no sign of the event until the next time. He was studied by parapsychologists and doctors, who were surprised by the phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another thing that happened very often during the seances was the materialisation of objects (contributions) of different kinds: wooden and metal crucifixes, crystal balls, rose petals, jasmine and other flowers, fig or pine twigs, small pieces of paper with the signature of Teresa of Jesus, etc., among other objects. These phenomena were used by the Spiritual Beings as testimony and proof of their existence, as well as of their presence during the spiritist sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thousands of times put to the test by the comfortable and rich world of society, with the pretension of monopolising it for itself, he always knew how to be in his place, keeping in mind with the utmost clarity, to \"give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As each teacher, his apostles and disciples began to appear. Without a fixed place to meet for the sessions, these were held in the homes of people who, because of their assiduity, he managed to bring them together - with effort and sacrifice - making of their lives in common, a first and large stable group, which would be the embryo of his great dream and which shortly afterwards would become a beautiful reality: The Christian Spiritist Community of Brother Pedro \"The Great Heart\". The long-cherished project which, by indication of the Spiritual Beings, was always the final objective of his great work: \"the big house\" which he himself predicted when he was only three years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brother Pedro initiated a new stage in Spiritism, already predicted by Allan Kardec in the 19th century, when he said that after the phase of philosophy and morality, would come that of the transformation of humanity. Christian Spiritism is thus presented, no longer as a science or a philosophy, but as the Universal Religion. Spiritist phenomenology transcends to the point of producing a new concept of God, clarifying the obscure points of the work of Jesus, placing the Master of Nazareth as the great promoter of the \"Promised Comforter\" and the spiritual task of the renewal of humanity, not relegating him to a historical figure of the past, but as a being whose Spirit \u2013full of the Light of God - continues to lead his work: the regeneration of Planet Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only with a group of people deeply committed to the personal work of maturation and self-perfection can an affinity be obtained that allows mediumship to contact higher spiritual entities who, with their words and teaching, renew strength and commitment - constantly - in these times we are living in, when society makes any effort in the field of spirituality so difficult, because of the norms it imposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beings of medium and low evolution also, on many evenings, brought their testimonies of pain, of anguish, of search and rewarded effort, in the help given to them through their mediumship, so that they could detach themselves from all the burdens that kept them clinging to the world and rise to the regions of the Light of God. In them, we could observe the consequences of our own actions, of our own life, and learn from their mistakes, understand their sufferings so as not to make mistakes and thus avoid making the same mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of his great and established mediumship, he was able to make the Mentors feel at \"home\" whenever they approached or coupled with him to testify to his messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, entities such as Francis of Assisi, Teresa of Jesus, Christopher, Jun\u00edpero Serra, Narcissus, Leopold of Alpandeire, Cajetan, Friar Louis of Granada, Constantine, Ramat\u00eds, Allan Kardec, Mahatma Gandhi, Omraam Mikha\u00ebl Ah\u00efvanhov, among many others (some of them now reincarnated), headed by Jesus himself, supported and strengthened - in their dedication - the expansion of his mission and his work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were extraordinary teaching lessons, channelling us towards the path marked out by Jesus, making us know the authenticity of the One Truth, and to live and feel under the Laws of the Father, promulgated and established in the Cosmos for the evolution and progress of His children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simple and humble, he loved all of nature, making the animals around him an extension of his real family. Tender and affectionate in the face of the suffering of others, but a true giant in defending his work and his Community, denouncing the falsehood of the tricksters of the shadows and their acolytes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aware that the time was right, Brother Pedro spread and disseminated his knowledge throughout society and, although he never had any academic training, he was nevertheless a great communicator due to the charisma that emanated from his person, explaining concepts in a simple way so that they could be understood by all those attending his events. It was always his desire to imitate the Master Jesus with his humility and simplicity - to reach everyone - more than with beautiful oratory, with a great heartfelt love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He gave many talks and conferences in different parts of the country. Invited by the journalist Sandra Gonz\u00e1lez, he took part in Adivinart I Sal\u00f3n de la Videncia y las Artes Adivinatorias (later known as: Foro Internacional de las Ciencias Ocultas y Espirituales), held in the Mercado Puerta de Toledo in Madrid, from the 17th to the 25th of March 1990. He was also invited as a speaker at the first Symposium of Paranormal Sciences in Valdepe\u00f1as, held on 26th and 27th October 1991. After the conference, a mediumistic session was held in front of the audience that filled the hall. In addition to numerous requests from the media: on radio, television and in the written press, he became well known in our country. For him it was a good opportunity to reach more people who, in one way or another, needed to know the transcendent reality of their own spirit, not seeking to proselytise, but to bring the light of knowledge that would bring good to the lives of many people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, among others, he participated in programmes on radio stations such as: \"Por la ma\u00f1ana\" of Radio Matar\u00f3\", \"Para esot\u00e9rico\" of Radio Espa\u00f1a, \"La Ser\" of radio Murcia de la Cadena Ser, \"Veintitr\u00e9s punto cero\" of Radio Popular de Murcia, \"El \u00faltimo pelda\u00f1o\" of Onda Regional de Murcia, \"Temas de media noche\" on Radio Juventud de Cartagena, a Radio Cadena Espa\u00f1ola station, \"Viaje por lo desconocido\" on La Voz del Segura (Molina-Murcia), \"Tiempo de parapsicolog\u00eda\" on Radio Amanecer de Alcal\u00e1 de Henares (Madrid). \"A pleno Sur\" on Canal Sur (Andalusia), \"Entre dos realidades\" on Onda Cero (Madrid) and \"Espacio en Blanco\" on Radio Nacional 5, presented by Miguel Blanco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also appeared in television programmes such as: \"El Mundo por Montera\" (TVE) presented by Fernando S\u00e1nchez Drag\u00f3, \"Esta es su casa\" (TVE) presented by Teresa Campos, \"Madrid m\u00e1gico\" (Tele Madrid) presented by Enrique de Vicente, \"Murcia a las dos\" (TVE) presented by Ana Radigales, \"TeleMursica\" on the same channel, where a live session was broadcast in collaboration with Miguel Blanco. \"Remedios Esot\u00e9ricos\" (TVE) \"Pasaje a lo desconocido\" (Telesol - Almer\u00eda) presented by Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Molina, \"La Sacerdotisa\" (Telecable de Totana - Murcia), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the press he appeared in newspapers such as: \"La Verdad\" of Murcia, \"La Voz de Almer\u00eda\", \"El Peri\u00f3dico\" of San Javier, \"ABC\" Dominical. In magazines such as \"Diez Minutos\" and \"M\u00e1s All\u00e1 de la Ciencia\". In the latter - on more than one occasion in its first stage - when it was directed by Fernando Jim\u00e9nez del Oso and Jos\u00e9 Antonio Campoy. He was also mentioned in the books \"Curanderos - Viaje hacia el milagro\" by Pepe Rodr\u00edguez and in the \"Gu\u00eda M\u00e1gica de Madrid\" by \u00c1ngel Garc\u00eda and Enrique de Vicente. It was in San Javier (Murcia-Spain) where the first headquarters of the Community was established - as a non-profit association - recognised by its Statutes and social representation, under the name - indicated by the Mentors - Christian Spiritist Community of Brother Pedro \"El Gran Coraz\u00f3n\" (The Great Heart). From then on, weekly activities were organised and a worship service to God began to be held every Sunday. In which, after a presentation of a subject of spiritual knowledge, there was a reflection on it, followed by a meditative prayer, preparing the attendees for the mediumistic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If at any time she felt faint from illness - produced by the pain of the ungrateful - at the slightest breath of recovery, she returned to work with more strength than ever and, at times, with a little uneasiness, seeing that time was running out and she did not finish what she had undertaken. But he always received the consolation and support of the one who - for many years - was at the helm of the ship of his work: Teresa of Jesus. Thus, strengthened again, he devoted himself to his defence without rest, in order to raise the banner of Christian Spiritism to unsuspected heights. That is why he was compensated with those marvellous experiences in the Astral Planes, where he made us share the greatness of the authentic Kingdom of God, where the light became more intense in our spirit, before the endless hope of the Eternity of the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Spiritual Brothers instructed him to produce a magazine - a task that fell to Antonio Hern\u00e1ndez Lozano - which would soon bear fruit, as it was the ideal medium for making known all the teaching content received in the Community, creating a continuous link between associations and individuals, extending even outside the country. The simple magazine \"The Great Heart\" was loved and appreciated by all those who understood the work and selfless dedication of men and women who, together with the wise Light of the Astral, made love and consolation for all their brothers and sisters effective every month through its pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the month of July 1990, the headquarters of the Christian Spiritist Community of Brother Pedro \"The Great Heart\" moved definitively to the Valley of the Sun, with twenty-five people living under its roof, in addition to those who, being active members of the same, although living outside it, participated in all its events. This was the fruit of all the members who felt responsible for the importance that we are experiencing - on a spiritual level - in these difficult times, as an integral part of the Great Universal Family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brother Pedro combined his public appearances with his spiritual work, the result of which was a whole series of meditation exercises and the programming of new activities within \"El Gran Coraz\u00f3n\", such as the institution of the \"Convivencias Fraternas\", to show as many people as possible how Christian Spiritism was lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Community embodied the ideal of living together in fraternity, far from social formalisms, as an advanced school in time, of what would be in the future the way of life of all humanity, after the planetary regeneration. As part of its many tasks, it held a Course of Spiritual Knowledge which was given to all the members of the Community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He devoted part of his time to the preparation and development of young mediums, through spiritual exercises and mental development, with emphasis on establishing each one's own personality, within the maturity that comes from assuming the responsibility that as individuals - within a society - they had with themselves and with others, providing them with a stable foundation on which to build the edifice of mediumship and of all their spiritual work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also performed a series of spiritual exercises that were recorded on cassette tapes - without prior preparation - but recited with a great feeling of love, the fruit of the great connection that his sensitivity to his Spiritual Mentors gave him. Many were the projects he was unable to realise, as a heart condition, which he had been carrying for years, aggravated into an illness which, after a few months, unable to continue being the vehicle for the manifestation of the great potential his spirit held, caused him to disincarnate on April 20, 1993.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was loved and hated, like any person with an extraordinary charisma. He only wanted \u2013as he asked in his last will - to be remembered as a person who tried to live and teach human beings to love each other, without forgetting that above all there is God, our Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was always considered by his brothers in the Community as the Master capable of giving his last breath in favour of Christian Spiritism. He was an endearing friend in difficulties and joys, an upright and tender father, who bequeathed a rich inheritance of Spiritual Knowledge. A legacy, not only for the members of his Community, but for the future generations of the Earth, without distinction of creed or race, for his motto was always the words of Jesus: \"Only by love shall man be saved\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brother Pedro is the last, so far, reincarnation of John the Baptist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those of us who were lucky enough to share part of our lives with him, we will always cherish the joy of having known the beauty that was hidden behind a human being with an extraordinary capacity to love. These words are a heartfelt and well-deserved tribute to his memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
